Overview

Hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) is indicated for conditions including large fibroids, severe abnormal uterine bleeding, adenomyosis, endometriosis, prolapse and uterine cancer after other treatments have been tried or are not appropriate.

Dr. P. Srilekha performs total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) as the preferred approach, offering a minimally invasive procedure with a 1-2 day hospital stay and rapid return to normal activities compared to open surgery.
